How to start

To “color” the leaves and petals of the “forget-me-not” flower, you need to choose colors that are close to natural and give the image volume. Flowers are given volume by placing flowers and leaves in a three-dimensional space. To achieve this, try to place some of the flowers and leaves in the foreground, and those that remain as flowers and leaves, in the second or third plane.
For example, the flowers and leaves marked with the Roman numeral I are in the foreground, the flowers and leaves II are in the background, and those marked with the number III are, respectively, in the third plane.

yarn selection

To embroider you will need: four to five shades of sky blue thread, three shades of teal thread, and at least six shades of warm green thread for the leaves.

Cooperation

Narrow stems should be embroidered on one track, and wide ones - on two or three tracks of the satin surface.
Fractional designations in the diagram, for example, 1/2, indicate that the stem is embroidered with two shades: 1 and 2 (2/3 - shades 2 and 3, respectively): green threads of a warm scale, satin smoothness in two or three tracks of the cover stitch.

The petals of each flower are embroidered in a thread thread with a double-sided stitch in the longitudinal direction, from the center to the outer edge of the petal.
When embroidering a stalk in two tracks, tone 1 is done from the side of the incident light, and tone 2 is behind. When embroidering on three tracks, shade 1 is sewn in the center, and the edges of the stem are embroidered with shade 2.

How to embroider the "forget-me-not" flower

In order not to create groups of points near the center of the flower, the petals are covered with a satin stitch using the "triangle removal" technique with successive alternation of long and short stitches: one stitch is sewn from the center to the outer edge of the petal, the second it is indented from the center.
In the very center of the flower, a core of three knots is embroidered in two threads of two or three stripes each using the rococo technique: the first is yellow, the second is peach, and the third is red or orange. When making smooth coverage of the outer edges of the petals, you can use the method of thickening the edge, that is, on the outer edge, perform the last stitch twice.

How to embroider the leaves of the flower "forget-me-not"

Small sheets are made with satin or double-sided stitch with the direction of the cover lines running the length of the sheet. Large leaves are made in two steps: first, one side of the midribs is sewn, then the other side is sewn as well.

When embroidering sheets, a needle with a working thread is always inserted into the middle of the sheet. This eliminates the need to sew the midrib with a stem seam.
The buds are double-sided embroidered, and the stems are embroidered with satin stitch in 2-3 colors, with the direction of the hedge lines along the stem.

It is imperative to embroider this pattern by changing the direction of lighting and the arrangement of leaves and flowers in a mini space. Even so, all the sheets can be embroidered in two or three shades with satin stitch, making a smooth transition of tones. Overlapping stitches are sewn along the length of the sheet.
