Would you like it learn to embroider a cushion in spanish/swiss embroidery?

In order for you to do so, you need the following materials:

  • Cushion
  • embroidery needle
  • white embroidery thread
  • Scissors
  • pattern or design

Step by step

Today we take the opportunity to present another example of decoration with Spanish embroidery or Swiss embroidery that we like very much. The square fabric for Spanish embroidery, in blue and white, gives a magical touch to your cushion. To do this, first make nine white asterisk stitches with #8 thread to form a square, then make a few thread steps, passing the needle under the upper left corner of the stitch.

Then, two passages of the thread are made by pulling it under the lower right corner of the asterisk at the top following a diagonal movement. As you can see it is easier to do than to explain. 🙂 Then we fix the passage with a dot like in the photo below, the same one used in the daisy stitch:

Next, you have to repeat the elliptical movement to the right... like this...

and here is the finished project:

With this final work in Spanish/Swiss embroidery, you can make a small cushion and mix the filling with some lavender flowers.
